In April 2010 they all came together again and decided to record a new album but in a slightly different way. Instead of recording in Stockholm astudio in north of Sweden (Bergsjo Halsningland) was booked. It was located very beautifully in a barn close to a lake. It was a totally newexperience the album was recorded live with all instruments including violin and mandolin playing together during the takes. The result isremarkable. We wanted to capture the true sound of the band says Sulo. The album kicks off with the folky mod song April fool and then theircelebration to Grimsby (UK) Greetings from Isaacs Hill the town on the humberside where the band always had their base while touring UK. It’s awarm close sound through the whole album. We’ve been listening a lot to The Kinks and the albums they made in the 70’s and I think this is ourmost honest album so far Sulo says. Other standout tracks is the beautiful Don’t turn me away the unexpected but very fitting cover of theSmiths single b-side Please please please Let me get what I want the pub hymn Last of the lovers and Absolutely No 1 where you almostcan hear the ghost of Ronnie Lane in the backing vocals. So here it is.
